Hey



Hey everyone,

I haven't been around much, my computer decided to blow up. I have another one being delivered on tuesday and will be able to get back online to keep this blog up to date.

This is a virtual model of how I am looking at the moment. I have lost a total of 10.5 kilos so far and am extremely happy with my achievements.

I went and had my hair cut last week so I feel as if I am going through a transformation. I have been invited to go and talk at a Weight watchers focus group on Monday night and am really looking forward to it. Will let everyone know how it goes on Tuesday.

Anyway thats all for now. Will post again next week.

Last Thursdays weigh in


Hey Everyone,
I have just realised that I didn't post last weeks weigh in.
I lost 0.4 kilos, that takes the total weight loss up to 6.3 kilos.

This photo was taken on Saturday at a work function, we took out the company boat and went for a harbour cruise. It was really nice.

So Excited!!!!!!

Well I had my weigh in tonight and I lost 2.6 Kilos. That is over two weeks as we didn't have a weigh in last week because of Australia Day.

I was so nervous and I thought that I had put on for sure. I had only gone to the gym once in two weeks and felt really bad about it. This has given me even more motivation to pull my finger out this week and actually work towards my goal whole heartedly.

Yay for me I feel so proud.

My total weight loss is now 5.9 kilos in 4 weeks.

AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH

Well thought I would post again, it has been a while!!!
I am really stressed in my job at the moment and am finding it really hard to stay focused.
I went for a job interview on Saturday and hopefully that will bring a positive result. Keeping all digits crossed for that. I feel that my job is making me take bad choices in my life especially as far as my dietary requirements go anyway. The problem that I have is that I am not having enough time to eat anything. That can bring a bad result on the scales as well as my body will start storing what i eat at night time.
We didn't go to WW last week because of Australia day and I am so scared about going on Thursday, but have figured that if I have a gain it just means I have to totally get back on track. I need to be able to have time for me. If I keep worrying about everyone else i will never be able to keep the weight off.

Will post again when i hear about the job or after my weigh in on thursday.

2nd Weigh In

Woo Hoo!!!

I am so excited, I lost another 1.1 kilos this week.
This has taken my total up to 3.3 kilos.
I feel fantastic and keep on thinking that that is a fabulous achievement.
It shows that you can still have a life whilst on this program as my husband and I went out to dinner this week. It is all about making the right choices. I can actually feel the difference in my clothes and I think that if you can actually see a change it ups your motivation a notch or two.

I am finding that I really enjoying this challenge, even going to the gym. I am loving the results that I am getting.

Sore Muscles

Well I got passed the weekend without doing too much damage I think!!! Thursday will tell though.
I went to the gym on both Saturday and Sunday and I am feeling it now. Last night I could hardly walk my legs were so sore. So I have given the gym a miss last night and tonight. I am planning to get back tomorrow night. I am in that zone and really enjoying it so I want to get straight back into it again.

Have been reading on the WW website that a few people have put weight back on in the secnd week and am really nervous about weigh in on Thursday.

Keeping fingers and toes crossed for a good result.

Well am feeling really good about myself today.
The weekends are the hardest time to control my eating habits. My husband works on Saturdays and that is when I start eating rubbish.
This morning I decided that this was going to change.
I woke up at 6am when he went to work, and I had a shower and went to the gym. After the gym I went to get the groceries I needed for my weeks menu plan.

Lst night I went through my WW cookbooks and made a week menu plan. I have decided that this is probably the best way for me to control the dinners I make or buy for that matter. At least this way I have all the food I need available and have no excuses not to make healthy choices.

Anyway am so glad that I have made these decisions and I feel empowered. I s that odd?????

First weigh in

Well today was my first weight watchers weigh in and I was so nervous...
When i stepped on the scales i actually forgot what my initial weight was and i thought i put weight on!!!! I think i nearly burst into tears but then the lady started congratulating me and when I had a closer look I lost 2.2kgs.
I have been so excited since that I haven't been able to stop smiling....

I forgot to put my stats on the first email so here they are

Start weight 107.4kgs
Current weight 105.2kgs
Goal Weight 58kgs

I still have a long way to go and I realise that not every week is going to be like this but i hope I remember this feeling all the way through this journey and that it will keep my motivation high..

Welcome



11th January 2006

Well welcome to my blog!!!!
My name is Kerry and I live in Sydney, Australia.
I am married to an amazing man named Daniel and we have been married since 2003.

On 5th January I phoned my Husband and told him I wanted to join weight watchers that night. He was so supportive of me and even though he didn't need to loose weight he decided to join as well. We joined that night.

I am so motivated to do this and am looking forward to my first weigh in tomorrow night.
I have joined the Valentines challenge on WW and have to loose 3 kilos by 14th Feb. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Will keep you updated as to my successes!!!!!!!!!!!!
